Kernel panics can also happen if your NFS sharepoint is not exported properly (shut down NetBoot, then disable the share, save, then enable the share, and restart NetBoot.sometimes a server restart helps after doing this), or if you have mistyped something when you set up your DeployStudio server (re-run the Assistant and verify your settings), or if your DNS or DHCP are misconfigured. Some versions of DeployStudio were buggy, so make sure you're running with one of the latest builds, and recreate your NetBoot set from scratch after installing a new version, rather than just upgrading your existing set. The "you must restart your Mac" message is a kernel panic, which means the NetBoot set you created with DeployStudio has crashed. I have tried recreating the netboot set, the netboot set was created on the mini mac im trying to boot. then it tries to load and i get a box that pops up and states that you must restart your computer!.ehhh Im in the process of configuring DeployStudio to image our macs, I have followed the instruction from the deployshare website and most things seems to work up to when i netboot (using "n" at startup) the blinking logo turns into a gray Apple logo with a spinning globe icon.so that must mean the booter file has been executed and i have a network connection.
